Breathing Light Photography is a Sydney-based wedding and portrait studio led by photographer Tessa Tran. With over a decade of experience and a quiet, unhurried approach, Tessa captures the moments that matter most - the ones you'll want to return to again and again.

Hi there, I’m Tessa.

I celebrate the fullness of life, with a creative and curious lens.

I created Breathing Light Photography in 2013 with a desire to document love and milestones that remind people of how deeply they love and are loved. I’ve always been drawn to the beauty of people gathering together, and much of my attention at weddings goes to these moments where unbridled joy and care is reflected in the space.

I shoot on both digital and analogue, and since 2020 I’ve included Super 8 films to my offerings. I document a limited number of weddings a year to give my all to clients, and dates fill up quickly.

Every wedding has its own rhythm, its own people, and its own way of being remembered. If you're looking for someone who photographs your day with care and an eye for the moments that matter most, I'd love to connect.
